Ordered food Sunday afternoon, got order home and it was wrong ,called up there said come back today and make it right, returned home today, and today's order was wrong, called up there and was told ,had to call back tomorrow to talk to owner about getting a refund, the manager said she.wasnt allowed to issue a refund. Once again, places raising prices, and service and quality goes down. Unfortunate but understand why so many places go out of buisness. Will gladly post and say the owner was very nice and apologetic and made it right. Mistakes and mixups happen, and shows alot of integrity when they accept it, apologize and make it right. It is still a favorite of mine, and have been back atleast 6 times, and as always spot on.
If you combine home style country cooking and a good old fashioned cafeteria where you can choose individual items and pick just what you want then that's Jackson's cafeteria. Sometimes maybe because the connotations of school or hospitals then cafeterias get cast in a negative light but make no mistake this is a good cafeteria! It's definitely a cafeteria and it's cafeteria style but the food and the cooking and the quality is all home cooking and home cooking at its best! If I lived closer to this place I guarantee I'd never cook again and I'd be here everyday and maybe 2 to 3 times a day. This place from what I understand has been around for maybe 30 to 40 years and I can certainly see why. This has got to be the best cafeteria I've ever been to ever!
The custard pie is very sentimental to me. Used to go to the rock hill location when I was a kid, I turn 30 this year- we were visiting Shelby NC and I called on the way back home to see if I could get a custard pie, and they had it ready when I arrived. Staff was friendly. I was so happy to see the same toy machines at this location as the old one and similar furniture. This place has a special place in my heart. The pie was delicious, thank you.
I always enjoy coming to Jackson Cafeteria. The food is great and the staff members are always respectful, sweet and a pleasure to be around. This place is a home away from home when it comes to dining. Their apple cobbler is my favorite. You can't order just one.
Stopped at this place and I'm glad I did. Had the Liver with no Onions, Green Beans, Mac and Cheese, Mashed Potatoes with Gravy and a roll. Some of the best Liver I've ever had (outside of my own of course). Everything was good but honestly wasn't really feeling the Mac. Definitely would stop there again if I found myself in the area.
Love Jackson's and the people that work there!! They are more friends than just workers 10/10 recommend! They know me, my kids and my mom!
Today was my 1st day eating here and I absolutely love the place the atmosphere was amazing. The people that work there were extremely Sweet and nice. They stay on top of everything. So you never had to worry about anything i totally recommend this Place to any and all to come and check it out And I definitely plan to come back with family and friends again
Jackson’s Cafeteria has always been a great restaurant to eat at. Family has always gone there after church most Sunday s. Good food,good desserts, atmosphere is good. Great service
